조각상에 새겨진 대통령
조지 워싱턴(1대 대통령) - 미국 독립전쟁의 장군으로써 독립에 큰 기여를 한데에서 새겨졌다.
토마스 제퍼슨(3대 대통령) - 미국 독립선언문을 수필로 작성, 그 공으로 조각하게 되었다.
시어도어 루즈벨트(26대 대통령) - 파나마 운하 건설기획추진의 공로로 조각되었다.
에이브러햄 링컨(16대 대통령) - 노예 해방 선언의 일으로 조각되었다.
미주리주는 1821년에 24번째로 연방에 가입되었다네..
